I’m happy to announce that I was accepted into the Coast Guard Art Program and submitted paintings for the 2018 committee to review. My painting of “Surfing in the Pacific Graveyard” was selected for the permanent collection! The painting will be in an exhibition in July in New York. The paintings that were selected for this year will then travel to various places for other exhibitions before ending up in the future Coast Guard Museum which is currently under construction. Thanks to the sacrifices that the members of the Coast Guard make every day to protect us and serve their country!! I am personally grateful for what they do to keep us safe on the water. My heroes indeed!!
