Artist Statement

Dreams and reality become interchangeable when you create a world that is your own.  Through the places that I’ve been and the dreams I have my art evolves.  Stepping out of reality and into a place that I’ve created becomes real once I cannot tell the difference between the two.  My paintings become a place to escape to and get lost in.  Since childhood I have been fascinated with light both in the day and night.  Wandering around in the moon light while observing how the colors change in the shadows and through the trees and buildings.  I seek the light of another world.
